Purpose of trial

BC will soon benefit from access to cutting-edge medical therapies with a new Phase 1 clinical trials unit that will allow researchers to test their discoveries within the province. This project is looking for a large number of healthy volunteers (having no major medical conditions) to participate in future early research studies at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital. Sign up now to receive an email from our researchers with further details.

As the first step, you will be sent a short survey via email to collect some information regarding your age, health considerations, etc., you will also receive an FAQ that provides more details about the unit and explains what to expect during a phase 1 study. You will then be added to the database of possible volunteers for future clinical trials. If you meet the criteria for any future trials, you will be notified and you will go through an informed consent process where you can choose to participate or not.
