Study: mobile trailer a success in caring for opioid overdose patients
The results of a study published last month in the Journal of Urban Health, led by Dr. Frank Scheuermeyer, clearly demonstrate the success of the Mobile Medical Unit, a “hospital on wheels” that was deployed in the Downtown Eastside during 2016/17 to treat cases of opioid overdose.
