Symposium on Updates to Clinical Research - March 1

On April 1, 2018, Health Canada will adopt the first update to the International Council on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice guideline (ICH GCP E6 R2) into Canadian law. With this change, PHCRI is adopting mandatory clinical research staff training to ensure that clinical research at PHC is conducted in accordance with the training requirements that come into effect April 1st. Come learn about the new requirements and how to access the free training and Standard Operating Procedures that are being provided to personnel conducting clinical research at PHC.
In addition, practical tips about Health Canada’s interpretation of the new changes will be presented to ensure that you are compliant in your own clinical research studies.
The presentation will take place on March 1, 2018 from 4:00-5:00PM followed by questions, snacks, and networking until 5:30. This event will be held in the Cullen Family Lecture Theatre.
